Holi, the Indian festival of color, was celebrated on Saturday 3/26 at Redmond Downtown Park, 16106 Redmond Way.
The festival was organized by Vedic Cultural Center volunteers and is a part of Redmond Arts and Culture Commission 2016 season.
Many Redmond city officials including the Mayor of Redmond, John Marchione, attended the celebration.
There was music, live performances, food and color throwing every 30 mins from noon - 4:00 pm.
It turned out to be a perfect day for Holi celebration with temperature of about 60 degrees. The event was a huge success. If you missed it this year we encourage you to be a part of it next year.
SeattleIndian.com thanks VCC, Redmond Arts and Culture Commission and all the volunteers for organizing such a wonderful event.
