Bengaluru, Sep 21 (IANS) The Karnataka Assembly was witness to an exchange of 'harsh' words between BJP MLA Belli Prakash who sought to question Municipal Administration Minister K.C. Narayan Gowda on Monday.

Allegedly upset over Gowda dilly-dallying his work for more than four months, as a result of this, Prakash countered him in the Assembly lounge where he asked him the reason for delay in a harsh manner.

Prakash is a ruling party MLA from Kaduru constituency, which is 233 kms from Bengaluru. Kaduru is taluk in Chikkamagaluru distirict

Seeing him angry, Gowda rebutted him stating that he was minister and he cannot be spoken to in a manner in which Prakash was speaking to him.

This resulted in harsh words exchanged between the duo and in the melee nobody could make out who was saying what.

Intervening at this juncture, Congress leader Satish Jarakiholi and others tried to calm down both angry leaders and separated them seeing mediapersons gathering there.
