Big changes for Auto & Homeowner insurance rates in Washington State

As of 6/20 insurers will no longer be allowed to use credit scores to determine rates. What this means to you. If you have good credit you have been getting a sizable discount on your rates. Your rates will go up. Mike Kreidler, the Washington State Insurance Commissioner, mandated that you will no longer get this discount. If you have a poor credit score your rates will probably go down.
