Being in this highly competitive music industry, he has truly been meteoric throughout his journey. His passion for music gave him the motivation to defy convention and pursue music more than just a passing hobby.He began his musical ride in 2000 and since then there was no turning back. He is the only Indian DJ to fill up concert size venues internationally. Besides playing for every renowned celebrity, he has also been the only DJ to play twice at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Swiss) representing India and entertaining the likes of Bill Clinton, Kofi Annan amongst others.

DJ Suketu (born Suketu Radia) is a Mumbai, India based DJ. At a time when music was losing its luster and remixes were infamous, came a man who changed it all.
A Times Music discovery way back in 2001, he has churned out some of the most successful and loved remixes of all time. His skills were honed by 4 times UK Champion and 2 times World Champion DJ Cut Master Swift at the DMC headquarters in Burnham. He went on to win the DMC in 1999. He released his debut album 440 Volts in 2003. The single Pyaar Zindagi Hai entered the charts at No.1 and parked itself there for 8 weeks.

DJ Akbar Sami who shot to fame with his first remix album Jalwa has since gone on to produce a number of other hit albums like Jadoo and Jalwa II with popular remixed songs like Raati baaki and Dhagala lagli kal. om shanthi om.. He has mesmerized crowds globally, and music lovers have always had their evenings excitement and thrill up to the last minute of the show. He has to his credit a number of awards like the All Asian DJ Championship and Channel [V]`s Best Indian Club DJ. With his Bollywood hits like Jalwa, Paisa Ye Paisa `Just Chill` and `Aashiq Banaya Aapne`, DJ Akbar Sami has retained his no. 1. position and one of the best in the industry. and has introduced remixes and Dj`ing India.
